Noémie: 18K, VS diamonds, and 30 days to change your mind

Thirty days from delivery, sixty in the gifting window, free return shipping and no restocking fee — the most generous terms on our fifteen-brand board. And a list price that was not the checkout price on the day we looked.

Steel hallmark punches and a slate touchstone streaked with gold, on a bench.

Thirty days from delivery, extended to sixty for orders placed between 1 November and 1 December, free return shipping, no restocking fee. Across the fifteen luxury brands in our files that is the most generous set of return terms on the board, and Noémie is one of only two brands there that reaches thirty days at all.

It is also a brand where the list price is not necessarily the price. Both facts belong in the same paragraph, so here they are.

What they actually sell

Direct-to-consumer fine jewelry: diamond eternity, band and stacking rings; engagement and wedding bands; pendant, name and letter necklaces; tennis and cuff bracelets; huggies, hoops and studs, plus a custom-design service with no fees, deposits or minimums. The live catalogue holds 2,205 branded variants.

Yuvi Alpert founded the business in New York in 2015. One point of housekeeping first: "Noemie" is a brand muse, not a founder. There is no person of that name behind the label.

Who makes it, and where

The brand states that its jewelry is "designed and made between our family owned production houses in Los Angeles and Bangkok". That statement is the foundation of its pricing argument — Noémie sells only direct and positions itself on removing wholesale middlemen. Harper's Bazaar described it in 2016 as "a new fine jewelry label with a twist: each 18K piece is uniquely made, but at a fraction of the cost", and Cup of Jo's 2016 piece identified Alpert as a second-generation jeweller working in recycled 18k gold.

The middleman argument is the brand's, not ours, and the production claim underneath it is not independently verified.

The metal and the stones

The core catalogue is 18K gold, some 14K, and platinum, set with VS-clarity diamonds. The brand's sourcing language is "reclaimed 18K gold, conflict-free stones, and lab-grown diamonds", and product pages add that mined diamonds are "certified conflict-free" and that it offers "only luxury level stones with Excellent Cut, F-G Color".

Here is the part this desk cares about most, and Noémie handles it better than most of the catalogue we cover: stone origin is stated in the product title itself. A ring listed as "Diamond Eternity Band Ring — 18K Gold | VS Clarity Natural Diamonds" is a natural-diamond ring, and an on-site Diamond Selector switches the same design to lab-grown. Every price example below is the natural-stone version, because that is how the brand titles them.

On grading, be precise. Diamond jewelry ships with an IGI or GIA certificate and a gemologist-prepared appraisal report for insurance. But the brand does not say which laboratory grades which stone, and IGI and GIA grades are not interchangeable — a VS from one issuer is not a promise of a VS from the other. The clarity, cut and colour language in the catalogue is the brand's own; the certificate naming the actual lab arrives with the piece. Ask which lab, if the grade is doing the work in your decision.

Not everything on the site is 18K. A non-core sterling-silver and birthstone assortment sits at $190–$330 under a different vendor name, and loose certified stones under another run $200–$10,650, inside the same storefront.

What it costs

PieceList price
Petite Diamond Band Ring — 18K gold, VS clarity natural diamonds$520–$720
Diamond Eternity Band Ring — 18K gold, VS clarity natural diamonds$1,130–$1,490
Huggie Earrings — 18K gold, VS clarity natural diamonds$1,180
Mama Bracelet — 18K gold$1,490
Mama Pendant Necklace — 18K gold, VS clarity natural diamonds$1,780–$2,370
Diamond Tennis Bracelet — 18K gold, VS clarity natural diamonds$5,970–$7,580

The full catalogue runs $250 to $24,160 across those 2,205 variants, with the core 18K assortment roughly $500 to $8,000 and tennis bracelets at the top.

Every figure above is a list price, and list is not what the storefront charged on the day we looked. As of September 2026 the site was running a sitewide "LABOR DAY SALE: 20% Off | Applied at Checkout". Twenty per cent off the $520 entry band is $416. That is one observation and not a pattern, so we will not tell you the brand always discounts — only that on the day we checked, the number on the product page was not the number at the till.

Signature pieces

The Diamond Eternity Band Ring in 18K is the brand's self-described best-seller, designed to stack, at $1,130–$1,490. The "Mama" franchise is the most editorially picked-up: the pendant necklace at $1,780–$2,370, the bracelet at $1,490. The Diamond Tennis Bracelet runs from a 0.50 ct half-tennis at $1,650 to a seven-carat version at $12,920–$24,160, and custom name necklaces and diamond letter pendants in 18K run $1,760–$3,940.

The terms

Thirty days, sixty in the gifting window. Returns run thirty days from delivery, extended to sixty for orders placed between 1 November and 1 December. Return shipping is free and there is no restocking fee. Items must be in unaltered condition. Set against the fifteen-brand return board, where thirteen brands sit at fifteen days or fewer and nine at exactly fourteen, that is an outlier in the buyer's favour.

Custom work is where the terms fight each other. The refund policy says the guarantee covers custom engravings and sizes. The help centre says custom orders under $1,000 are returnable while those over $1,000 receive free design adjustments or store credit only. Both cannot be operative. Commissioning anything over $1,000, get the applicable term in writing first.

Shipping and lead times. Complimentary insured overnight or one-to-two-day FedEx across the continental US, three business days to Alaska and Hawaii. International is not standard: you email to ask whether the brand can ship to your country, duties are yours, and complimentary returns are US-only. Pre-orders and custom pieces take one to five weeks, and an incorrect size on a custom piece gets a complimentary resize.

The warranty carries a condition worth reading twice. Lifetime cover against manufacturing defects — voided if the piece is taken to an outside jeweller. On a ring you may want resized locally in ten years' time, that is a real constraint rather than boilerplate.

Two trust signals on the site are not what they look like. The "9,500+ 5-star reviews" figure is a merchant-hosted Yotpo widget, not third-party validation; the Trustpilot profile is unclaimed with zero reviews and Sitejabber has none. The "Google Top Quality Store" and "CCA Winner" graphics are brand-supplied images, not verified credentials.

The press record

Seven of ten citations resolve to the outlet. Harper's Bazaar covered the launch in 2016 and Cup of Jo profiled the founder the same year. Business Insider and theSkimm each published a first-person account of designing a custom ring with the brand, Real Simple covered the diamond huggie earrings, New York Magazine's Strategist ran "A Pretty Diamond Ring at a Pretty Nice Price", and Fashion Week Daily made the Mama Bracelet an Editor's Pick.

The other three — a 2016 Vogue launch piece, a 2016 Forbes piece on cutting out the middleman, and a 2016 WWD profile of Alpert — are links taken from the brand's own press page that we have not independently read. They are the brand's citations, and we describe them that way rather than as coverage we can vouch for. There are no stockists: the brand states that it "only sells directly to our customers".

THE PENNYWEIGHT VERDICT

Buy on sale.

The number is 20% — the sitewide reduction the storefront applied at checkout in September 2026, which turns the $520 list price of the Petite Diamond Band into $416 and takes $226 off a $1,130 eternity band. A storefront that discounts sitewide is a storefront where paying list is a choice. And the thirty-day window means you can act on a markdown without the risk that usually comes with one: returns here are free, no clause strips the return right from discounted stock, and there is no restocking fee.

Two conditions. Confirm which laboratory graded your stone, because IGI and GIA are not the same certificate. And if the piece is custom and over $1,000, settle the refund-versus-store-credit question in writing before you pay, because the brand's own two policy documents do not agree.

Every figure above is drawn from hellonoemie.com's own published pages and product feeds and from the named outlets, as recorded in our brand files on 4–5 September 2026. Prices and terms change without notice. The Pennyweight buys nothing and accepts no gifted product.
