Lab-Grown Diamond
A lab-grown diamond is a genuine diamond produced by HPHT or CVD in a reactor rather than mined. It is chemically and optically identical to a natural stone and is graded by the same laboratories, on reports explicitly marked laboratory-grown. Prices sit far below natural equivalents and have fallen steadily. Resale recovery is minimal, so buy one to wear rather than to hold value.
