LUOSOPHY: an off-price reseller, 14 days, and a founding story that does not check out
Fourteen days to report a return and ship it, at your own cost, with no size chart on a catalogue of European-sized Celine, Prada and Miu Miu. Prices $220–$7,980, median $679, and an about-page founding date the domain registration does not support.

Fourteen days to report a return and ship it, at your own cost, on a catalogue of European-sized Celine, Prada and Miu Miu with no size chart published anywhere on the site. That is the term that decides whether anything at LUOSOPHY is a bargain.
The storefront would rather you looked at the discount. All 438 catalogue variants we sampled showed the same 29.43–29.76% markdown, because the "regular price" is computed backwards from the selling price; the full argument is in what "discount" means at a grey-market luxury reseller.
What they actually sell
Not a designer label — an off-price and grey-market multi-brand e-tailer. It resells in-season third-party designer ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and accessories, sourced — according to its own about page — from "hundreds of high end luxury boutiques across Europe". No supplier is named anywhere.
A 250-product, 438-variant sample of the catalogue was led by Celine at 16 SKUs, Acne Studios 15, Prada 13, and Jacquemus, J.W. Anderson and Miu Miu at 12 each, alongside Ami Paris, Toteme, Zimmermann, Valentino Garavani, Sacai, Max Mara, Moon Boot, Brunello Cucinelli, Loewe, Gucci, Tom Ford and Balenciaga. Product titles are generic feed-style entries carrying raw supplier SKUs.
Who makes it, and where
Whoever made it for the originating label. LUOSOPHY produces nothing, and the country data it inherits is uneven: across the 250-product sample, Italy appears on 135 items, China on 19, Portugal on 17, Japan on 10, Bulgaria, Vietnam and Romania on 5 each, Spain on 4, Turkey and Georgia on 3, Tunisia on 2 — and 31 items state no country at all.
There are no own materials or craft claims; descriptions are feed-derived. The one merchant-level claim repeats on every product page: "Our Products Are 100% Genuine. In All Cases We Stand By The Authenticity Of Every Product Sold On Our Site." That is the seller's own statement about its own goods. No third-party authentication partner, certificate of authenticity or described authentication process appears anywhere on the site or in the FAQ.
On the founding story. The about page says the business was founded in San Diego in 2016. That is the brand's claim, and the record does not support it: the domain was registered in February 2023, the earliest archived capture of the site is from the same day, and the April 2023 version of the site presented itself as a Poshmark reseller. Our file records no founding year for this merchant, and this profile publishes none. The stated headquarters is San Diego, California.
What it costs
| Listing | Price | Merchant's stated "regular" |
|---|---|---|
| Moon Boot Icon Low Leopard Print Snow Boots | $390 | $553 |
| Stella McCartney Falabella Wristlet Bag | $695 | $987 |
| Canada Goose Chilliwack Bomber Jacket | $780 | $1,109 |
| Valentino Garavani VLogo Signature Leather Mini Bag | $1,253 | $1,781 |
| Celine Wool and Cotton Blend Jacket | $2,152 | $3,058 |
| Brunello Cucinelli Donegal Tweed Coat, Made in Italy | $3,310 | $4,705 |
Computed across 438 variants from the store's own product JSON on 5 September 2026: roughly $220 to $7,980, median $679, core band about $300–$2,500. All prices display in USD.
The right-hand column is the merchant's figure, not a retail price we observed. Where an outside price exists it does not agree: Moon Boot's own US store lists the Icon Low Leopard Print Fleece at $420, so the saving on a claimed $553 regular is nearer 7% than 29.5%.

The terms
Every term below is the merchant's own published statement, recorded 5 September 2026.
Fourteen days to report a return and ship it. Both legs sit inside one window, and you pay all return shipping. The item must be unused, undamaged and in its original packaging with every tag attached. Clearance and final-sale items cannot be returned at all. Damaged goods must be reported within 14 days with photographs. Refunds go back to the original payment method — up to 48 hours on PayPal, up to 14 business days on a card. Fourteen days is the modal window across the fifteen brands in our return-window reference, but the report-and-ship construction makes this one of the tighter fourteens on that board.
No sizing help of any kind. No size guide, no EU-to-US conversion, no fit advice in the FAQ — on a catalogue whose largest vendor counts are all European houses, inside a window that needs the parcel already moving.
Duties are stated as prepaid, with a caveat on the record. The shipping policy says duties and taxes are included in the order total at checkout and that no further payment will be required on importation. Trustpilot reviewers report duties not being disclosed upfront, which suggests the policy language postdates the complaints. Both belong on the record.
Shipping. Free standard shipping within the US, a flat $20 to Canada and a flat $50 elsewhere, across roughly 33 destination countries in all. Processing takes 1–2 business days, then 4–8 business days in the US, 7–14 to Canada and 8–14 to most international destinations. Cancellation is only possible before an order is processed or shipped. If an item proves out of stock, the merchant emails and refunds when restocking would take more than two weeks.
The press record
Our brand file holds no press citations for LUOSOPHY — no coverage, and no brand-claimed citations either.
The independent record is one platform. Trustpilot shows 4.0 out of 5 from 75 reviews, and that figure needs its qualifier: review invitations fire only on fulfilled orders, so it reads as a fulfilled-order satisfaction score rather than a rating of the whole customer population. No phone number is published; support is email only.
Comparable brands
Italist, Cettire, YOOX, The Outnet and Gilt. The Outnet and Gilt are off-price arms of authorised retail; Italist and Cettire run the same cross-border model as this one. That distinction decides who answers if the goods are wrong.
THE PENNYWEIGHT VERDICT
Skip — unless you have already priced the exact SKU against an authorised seller.
The number is 14. Fourteen days to report a return and get it moving, at your own cost, with no size chart to get the size right the first time, on European sizing. Against a median listing of $679, a return leg you pay yourself on an international parcel is a meaningful fraction of any saving — and the saving itself is measured against a "regular price" the merchant derived rather than observed.
The narrow case for buying here is precise: a specific piece you have already found at an authorised stockist, priced there, and confirmed cheaper here by a margin that survives the return leg. That is arithmetic you do yourself — on a merchant with no press record, no named supplier, no authentication partner, no phone number, and a founding story its own domain registration does not support.
Catalogue counts, prices, country-of-manufacture data, policy terms and review figures are drawn from LUOSOPHY's own published pages and product data, from Moon Boot's US store, from Trustpilot's own record and from Internet Archive captures, as recorded in our brand files on 4–5 September 2026. Terms change without notice. The Pennyweight buys nothing, accepts no gifted product, and is not affiliated with any brand, retailer or marketplace named here.
